What Was Shipped

The SecondCopy kit includes this user's manual, a floppy disk containing the software, and may include a tape drive, a SCSI controller, a SCSI cable, and a tape cartridge. Please identify the following items:

• a 3.5 inch floppy diskette,
• a Tandberg TDC 3500, 3600, 3700, 3820, 4120, 4122, 4220, 4222, SLR-5, or MLR-1 tape drive,
• a tape cartridge,
• an Adaptec AHA-1542CP ISA to SCSI bus controller,
• or an AHA-1742 EISA to SCSI bus controller ( which must be configured for 1540 emulation mode ),
• or an AHA-2940 PCI to SCSI bus controller,
• and a SCSI cable.

You may have ordered a tape backup kit without a SCSI controller card. In that case, use the SCSI controller card you already have and the appropriate device driver. In addition, you may have ordered an external drive enclosure. The choice of internal or external mounting will not affect the software and it will not be mentioned in any of the examples that follow.
